Kimberly Solsby, age 57, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, surrounded by those she loved most. Born on August 21, 1967 in Hot Springs Arkansas, she lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength. Kimberly was a devoted wife and an amazing mother whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. Her family was the center of her world, and she brought endless love and light into their lives.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 27 years, Mitch Solsby; her children, Landen Solsby, Lauren (Joseph) LaCava, and Ashley (Chris) Smith; and her granddaughter, Natalie Smith. She is also survived by her mother, Carolyn Mattoon; her brother, Vince (Gayla) Mattoon; and her sister, Laurie (Brent) Daes.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Frank Mattoon, and her brother, Allen Mattoon.
She had a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Whether enjoying a walk, the beauty of the seasons, or quiet time outside, she found peace and fulfillment in the world around her. Her greatest joy came from being with her family, sharing life’s everyday moments with those she cherished most and creating memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
Kimberly’s gentle spirit, quiet resilience and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held at Crestview Memorial Park on May 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend David Fleming officiating. Pallbearers will be Mitch Solsby, Landen Solsby, Joseph LaCava, Joseph LaCava II, Chris Smith and Phil Smith.
