He was a very talented hairdresser, working in Hot Springs until moving to Houston where he continued his profession until an accident caused him to retire. Then he donated his time to several non-profit organizations, using his considerable talents and personality to help others.
Larry is survived by a sister Jean Young; aunt Janice Archer; nieces, Alicia and David Bryant, Dana and Brian Rogers, and Sheri Wingo; nephews, Gary and Craig Archer.
He also leaves behind his close childhood friends, Ann Smith, Wanda Harris, Hoyte and Linda Reynalds, Linda Ruth and Gordan Pate.
