Spike was born on October 23, 1946 in Sterling Illinois to the late William and Dorinda Schultz. Spike was a long time attendee of Crossgate Church and First Assembly of God Hot Springs Village. Spike loved remodeling and building homes so much that he had his own business called Schultz Construction. In his spare time he loved spending time with his beloved dog, Sage, who sadly passed away last summer. Spike was an active member of the Mountain Valley Sportsmens Association, a gun range where he could shoot until his heart was content.
Spike is preceded in death by his parents and sister Dorinda Fullmer. Survivors include daughter Sandy (Britt) Long of Hot Springs, Arkansas; grandson Tyler Tigue of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sister Annjane Eager of Chadwick, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. Spike also has a son Scott Schultz and a host of friends especially Ted Smethers who will all cherish their memories of him.
A memorial service will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Friday July 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. with RonnieGilmore officiating.
