Whether he was cooking or tinkering in his shop, Lester was of the generation who could “take nothing and make something”.
A quiet, kind man, Lester loved the Lord and his Leonard Street Baptist Church family. He was also very blessed in his daughter Candie Martin, granddaughters Mindy Summitt (Glen) and Stacy Knutson (Alan), and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Tommy Broom, Lonnie Harris, Regie Huchingson, Raymond Ritter, Mickey Vincent, and Andy Worley. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Leonard Street Baptist Men’s Sunday School Class.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Monday, April 3, 2017 at Leonard Street Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Holland officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Leonard Street Baptist Church, 625 Leonard Street, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913.
