Linda “Gaye” Goines, 70, of Pearcy, AR died Wednesday, October 16, 2024. She was born January 5, 1954, in Hot Springs to J.L. and Dimple Barentine. She was a 1972 graduate of Hot Springs High School and retired preschool teacher at First Baptist Preschool in Hot Springs.
Gaye was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband Darroll “Butch” Goines; daughter Stacy Lynch (Brandon) of Hot Springs; son Kevin Goines (Jennifer) of Bauxite; grandchildren Garrett Lynch and Weston Lynch of Hot Springs; Gracie Goines of Tucson, AZ and Serena Richardson of Bauxite; brother Larry Barentine (Melanie) of Hot Springs; her beloved dogs, Dolly, Baby and Sassy and a very large host of friends.
Gaye was a devout Christian and an organ donor. She loved growing flowers and was a friend to so many.
Services will be Tuesday, October 22 at 10:00am at Gross Funeral Home with Terry Whitley officiating. Her wishes were to be cremated.
