Marsha Simpson passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
Although life did not always give Marsha the white-picket-fence, happily-ever-after story she once dreamed of, she was blessed with three children who grew into wonderful human beings because of her guidance and love. She also loved her four stepchildren as her own. Being a mother was her greatest joy and her true superpower. She also loved being a grandmother to her three grandchildren and a great-grandmother to her two great-grandchildren.
Marsha was a dedicated and hardworking employee who often worked long hours to support her family. Despite her busy schedule, she always made time for her children. She attended sporting events, band concerts, Boy Scout camps, and many other activities that were important to them. She gave her children love, discipline, humor, and strength to help them face life’s challenges.
Marsha was quick-witted, practical, and resourceful. She could think on her feet and figure out how to get things done when others might give up. She was also incredibly honest, and because of that, she expected honesty from others. She had a special instinct when it came to her children—she could always tell when they weren’t being completely truthful. But with the rest of the world, she sometimes believed the best in people, even when they didn’t always deserve it.
Marsha loved deeply—her family and her friends. Even when those she loved didn’t always do what she thought was right, or when they let her down, she found a way to forgive and move forward. That kind of grace and loyalty says a lot about the size of her heart.
No service is planned at this time. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice or to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Acknowledgments may be sent to The Family of Marsha Simpson c/o Marjann Morrow, 700 E Coliseum Drive, Snyder. TX 79549.
