Nancy Nora Jennings (née Storey), age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9th, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and was the beloved daughter of Frank and Rosemary Storey.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Jennings, to whom she was married for 54 years.
Nancy was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion, faith, and a unique affinity for her grandchildren. She had many passions in life, but most notably, her love for both the Green Bay Packers and reading. However, nothing could surpass her passion for her grandchildren. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many others whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Nancy is survived by her five children: Brian and his wife Liv, Charles and his wife Melissa, Chrissy and her husband Rob, Andrew and his wife Sarah, and Dean and his wife Candra. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren: Paige, Aubrey, Jessica, Natalie, CJ, Sammy, Patrick, Nathan, William, Lauren, Madison, Emily, Kaitlyn, and Colton. She is also survived by her only sibling, her beloved brother, Charles F. Storey, who continues to live on in her spirit, carrying forward her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Caring Place in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where Nancy was graciously cared for during her battle with Alzheimer’s.
Friends and family are invited to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15th, at St. John’s Catholic Church. Viewing will be from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., with Rosary and prayer following at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
