

Pamela Sue Heifner, 51, of Bonnerdale, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 9, 1966 to the late George & Juanita (Faught) Brawley.
Pam was an Assistant Systems Programmer with SFLIC in the Information Technology division. A graduate of Acorn High School in Mena, Arkansas and Remington College in Little Rock with an Associate of Business Technology.
Pam joined SFLIC in October 2004 as a New Business Coordinator, was promoted to Senior New Business Coordinator in 2006, and in 2011, to the position of Administrative Assistant, Finance & Operations. In 2015, she became the Commissions Coordinator/Assistant Systems Programmer.
Pam was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in October 2015,and underwent treatment while working full-time. Pam’s cancer metastasized to several organs including her brain; however, Pam never lost her smile. Her last day to actively work was Friday, December 29, 2017. As the staff toasted to the New Year, Pam was hopeful for 2018.
Pam leaves her husband, Stanley Heifner; a brother William Raines; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many family members.
Special thank you to her coworkers, as several of her SFLIC family were with her when she passed.
A memorial service will be February 3, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church in Mena Arkansas on HWY 8 West.
