

Cecil Pat Fields, 89, of Hot Springs, AR, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025. He was born on June 13, 1935, in Westminster, TX, and was the son of the late Cecil Henry Fields and Bonnie Bell Fields.
Pat graduated from Anna High School and furthered his education at East Texas State in Commerce, TX. He proudly served in the US Army from 1959 to 1962, dedicating three years to his country and used the GI bill to fund his education.
Pat was a devoted member of Piney Baptist Church in Hot Springs, where he was deeply involved teaching Sunday school and participating in various church activities. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in his daily actions and beliefs.
An avid sports enthusiast, Pat enjoyed fantasy sports in his later years and cherished memories of hunting and fishing in his youth. He was a passionate fan of all sports; a joy that was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. Pat cherished the annual family trips to Gulf Shores and valued every moment spent with his loved ones.
Pat is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Judy Fields; his son, Patrick, and daughter-in-law, Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Foncell Powell, Janie Proctor, and Deann Cody.
Funeral services will be held at Piney Baptist Church in Hot Springs at 11 am, with visitation beginning at 10 am. Gross Funeral Home of Hot Springs, AR, is assisting the family during this time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital or Piney Baptist Church in memory of Pat. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the love he spread throughout his community.
