Sherry Halpin

She was born January 29, 1955, in Hot Springs Arkansas to Milton Gale and Betty Jo Gale. Sherry married John David Halpin April 16, 1976, as they spent 49 years together.

She worked at Lakeside School District for 31 years. Whether it was nurse Sherry or Mrs. Sherry, she loved the Rams.

More than anything she loved being “Mimi”. Her family was her world. Whether it was getting coffee with her granddaughters, going to weekend soccer games, school concerts, graduations, she was always there. There is no doubt how much she loved and cherished her family.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Milton Gale and Betty Jo Gayle, and son, David Lee Halpin, who she is so excited to see again.

Loving survivors include her husband, John David Halpin, her son, John Anthony Halpin (Tracy), all of her beloved grandchildren, Cameron Halpin (Bailey), Emily Maybrey (Christian), Matly Halpin, Hadlee Halpin, Scarlett Halpin and her siblings Rick Gale, Linda White, and Nancy Gale.

A memorial service will be held for Sherry at Creekside Community Church at 1010 Shady Grove, Hot Springs, AR 71901 on Saturday August 16 from 1pm until 3pm.
