Shirley Ryvone Alewine

Shirley Ryvonne Alewine passed away peacefully, on Jan.6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug.14, 1935 to Daniel and Mary Buller, in Wichita, Kansas. Being next to the youngest with 9 siblings, she was the last one to go home. Also predeceased by her loving husband, Calvin Alewine, Sr., a daughter, Jennifer Alewine, two granddaughters, Allison Stevens and Cassandra Bissell.

She is survived by a son and two daughters, Mary (Craig) Stevens, Calvin (Cheryl) Alewine, Jr., Carolyn (Larry) Bissell. 3 Grandchildren and their spouses, Patrick (Jamie Durfee) Stevens, Timothy (Erin) Bissell, Caitlyn (Jason) Hamel. 7 Great grandchildren, Kira McCoy, Ryker Stevens, Autumn Herron, Breanna and Camden Bissell, Ava and Barrett Hamel.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Stevens, Timothy Bissell, Jason Hamel, Wayne Thomas, and Johnny Shuffield.

Honorary pallbearers are Athelene Stafford, Johnny Webb, Joan and Larry Collier, Dick and Judy Gray, and her Quapaw Nursing home kids, Danny, Tasha, Samantha, Wendy, Robyn, and Jason Hamel for being there with her.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 15, from 5-7 pm at Gross Funeral Home

Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024 at 2:00 with Bro Doug Jones officiating, at Gross Funeral home.

Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
