I have many fond memories of Steve from our days at Einstein Jr. High School through High School at Hiram Johnson HS in Sacramento Ca.,  RIP my friend.  My deepest Sympathy to Gail and all of Steves family.

Never got to meet him but felt like I knew him through your sharing your exploits online Gail. My thoughts and prayers are with you through out. God bless you and your family!!   


Steve was a good friend and neighbor, he helped me so many times and I can’t drive down the street and not look over to see him in his swing.
My dog Lola also loved him and was always hoping Steve was outside so she could get loved on. Miss you Steve

I worked with Steve at UHC for many years.  He was always positive and let you know he cared for you.  I think of him every time I see a Hawaiian shirt.  

Prayers and love to his family and friends left behind.  I am blessed to have known him.

Uncle Steve was the definition on FUNCLE!  He was the fun uncle.  We always felt loved around him.  He was full of adventure and great stories too. He would spread laughter and happiness wherever he was. He would jump in to help anyone that was in need.  He will be missed and thought of frequently.  

So sorry for your loss.  Just watching the two of you together made me know there was true love out there.  I really enjoyed watching the two of you enjoy each other's company, so sweet.  May God be with you through this and comfort you until you and Steve meet again.  Love you Gail



Steve was a good man.  He was kind and thoughtful and a "jack-of-all-trades.  He was so easygoing.  I think Spring was his favorite time of the year.  He would make friends with the birds and the chipmunks----he loved nature and just being in it.  He was the best neighbor.  He would come over and help us build, work on projects, just say a friendly hello.  He shared his expertise with James many times.  He built me a ramp when I could not get up my steps.  
He would go with the flow---tell some funny stories---or just cooperate with whatever we had planned....because he was content with his life.  The neighbors knew who to call when we got in a bind----Steve.  He would make everything alright again.  We just can't believe he is gone---so quickly.....May he rest in peace.  I know God greeted him with a big hug when Steve knocked on His door. He was a child of God.   We love you, Steve.  You will always be in our hearts!

Had the pleasure of meeting Steve several years ago he was a true gentleman and will always be remember as a sweet gentle man I came to know . RIP Steve. Peg Raebiger

We have so many fond memories of Steve.  Many great times were had on vacations and visits.   Steve was always wonderful at helping me get through my honey do list, even at the expense of some fingers!  He was always up for a good cigar and a glass of Bellvenies.   We will miss his laugh, his smile and his always good nature.
 He will be missed by our entire family.
