

In 1940 the family moved to Hot Springs, AR. Her father was helping to build the Hot Springs Airport. Virginia graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1954. On September 3, 1955 she married Anthony C. Cordiale and they lived in Queens, NY. They moved to Hawaii for 2 years and decided to come back to Hot Springs to make their home. Virginia went to work for the Arkansas Bank and Trust and retired from Regions Bank after 38 years of service.
She was an active member of Saint John’s Catholic Church. She also had been a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority. She was an avid reader and loved to work the crossword puzzles in the paper every morning. She loved watching and supporting the Razorbacks.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband Anthony in 2012; sister Peggy George in 2017; and a son-in-law Monte Baugh in 1998.
She is survived by her daughter Kathryn L. Baugh (Tommy) Vance, Gina E. Foshee (Mike); Grandchildren Aubree Foshee, Jordan Foshee, Zackery Vance, Marisa Vance Geiling (Zac); great grandchildren Nina Geiling , and Karson Geiling; a nephew Kyle Poe (Jennifer) and their daughters Katherine and Kelsey.
Also a special thank you to the staff at Lake Hamilton Nursing and Rehab for all the care they gave to Virginia.
Pallbearers include Mike Foshee, Tommy Vance, Kevin Foshee, Zachary Vance, Zac Geiling, and Kyle Poe.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday March 23, 2024 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery starting at 10:00 am. Guests may register at www.GrossFuneralHome.com.
