A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. We love you and miss you.”
Born May 19, 1933, in San Diego, California, the daughter of the late Isabel and Clyde Shields. Surviving are her loving husband Richard Kolesar of Hot Springs Village; and brothers Clyde Shields and Robert Shields of California. She was the loving mother of son Michael Bennett and his wife Kim; son Alan Bennett and his wife Janet; daughter Angela Fisher and her husband Edward; and proud grandmother of Jennifer Knox and her husband Jimmy; Greg Bennett and his wife Chacey; Amelia Keaton; Andrea Zinker and her husband Cody. She was great-grandmother to Jacob Knox, Jenna Knox, EmmaLea Bennett, Olivia Baranik, and Branson Zinker.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, in Hot Springs Village, on Wednesday, August 17th, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Memorial Fund.
