Alvin Favors, age 51, a native of Franklin and resident of Patterson, LA, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at 5:45 PM at Leonard Chabert Medical Center. Visitation will be at New Salem Baptist Church, 1412 Cherry St. Patterson, La., Wednesday, December 30, from 10:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM. Burial in Shield Cemetery in Patterson, La. Alvin is survived by his wife; Kathy C. Favors, two daughters; Alicia J. Favors and Angelicia J. Favors, a sister; Yvonne Williams, seven brothers; Melvin Scott, Alfred Favors, Wayne Favors, Ray Favors, Robert Favors, Jerry Favors and Ricky Favors all of Patterson, and one grandson. Preceded in death by his mother, a brother and two children.
