Anthony J. ""Tony"" Brown, Sr.,  age 57, a native and resident of Morgan City, LA.,  died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 1:58 AM at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.Visitation will be Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.Tony leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Michelle Verdun Brown of Morgan City, La.,  five daughters; Obra Brown-Bartley of Arlington, TX.,  Teranisha Brown of Lafayette, La., Jaquita Brown of Morgan City, La.,   Annika Lewis-Prevot(Sebastian) and  Jasmin Lewis of Houston, TX.,  a son, Anthony John Brown, Jr of Morrow, GA; six brothers, Raymond L. (Joyce) Brown, Jr., of Morrow, GA., Edwin Brown of Seattle, WA., Fr. Keenan W. Brown of Arnaudville, La., Paul A. Brown, David R.(Ernestine) Brown, Sr., and  Effrem D. Brown (Nakaya) all  of Morgan City, La; five sisters,  Paula Boutte (Harold Gobert) and Judith E. Brown both of Patterson, La., Mrs. Edward (Tena) Trimm and Mrs. Roy ( Marva B.) Stewart both of Morgan City, La., Mrs. Isaac (Monica F.) Carter of Moreno Valley, CA; nineteen grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.Preceded in by parents, Raymond & Celine Brown and a brother, Derrick Brown and a sister, Lillian Brown Bartley.
