Anthony "Nini" Jones

Visitation will be observed on Friday March 5, 2021 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Pastor Larry Frank will officiate the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery. Services will be accessible by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Page at 1:00 P. M. on Friday March 5, 2021.

Memories of Anthony or "Nini," as he was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Edna Jones of Morgan City, LA; five sons, Robert Kelly and Bryan Kelly both of Morgan City, LA, Clarence (Sheila) Kelly of Monroe, LA, Cornelius Kelly and Anthony M. Jones both of Patterson, LA ; four daughters, Allison Kelly, Sandra (Raymond) Bartley, Patricia Kelly all of Morgan City, LA and Antoinette Jones of Patterson, LA; two brothers, Herbert Micheal Jones and Conley Thomas (Melba) Jones both of Morgan City, LA; three sisters, Nora Jones Skinner of Morgan City, LA, Almetra Jones Franklin of Verdunville, LA, Ara Jones (Claudell) Ramagos of Schriever, LA; thirty-two grandchildren, sixty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Anthony was preceded in death by his son, Lloyd Kelly, Jr.; parents, Freddie Jones, Sr. and Ara B. Jones; step-father, Ernest Jones, Sr.; one brother, Freddie Jones, Jr.; step-brother, Ernest Jones, Jr.; step-sister, Mary E. Jones; two grandchildren, Nigel Webb and Kurnesha Webb; maternal grandparents, Tom Plato Brown and Ara Brown and paternal grandparents, Mitchell Jones, Sr. and Almeta Williams Jones; father-in-law, Kemper Triggs; step-father-in-law, Ivory Variet and mother-in-law, Earline Variet.
