Archbishop Leroy Phillips

Visitation will be observed on Saturday February 13, 2016 at the House of Prayer & Christian Fellowship 491 1/2 Oneal Chube Street in Franklin, Louisiana 70538 from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM, Bishop Larry Lloyd will officiate the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Franklin Cemetery - Main Street in Franklin, LA.   

Memories of Archbishop Phillips will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Bishop Billie Mae Phillips of Franklin, LA; seven sons, Clyde Madison, Sr. of Fort Laurardale, FL, Reginald Madison (Manuela) of Chesapeake, VA,  Anthony Madison of TX, Kevin Madison (Cynthia) of Corpus Christi, TX, Dwayne Madison of Lafayette, LA, Michael Cross (Claudia) of FL and Jason Cross (Shelbra) of Baldwin, LA; four daughters, Charlotte Marie Madison-Lee of Grand Prairie, TX, Jeanetta Madison-Rudolph of Jeanerette, LA, Francella Madison-Hines (Bradley Jr.) of Franklin, LA, Denise Phillips-Hendrix of Alexandria, LA and Melissa Jack-Johnson (Roosevelt) of Lafayette, LA; one brother; Charles Phillips (Elsie) of Beaumont, TX ; two sisters, Minnie Kaliabul (John) of Beaumont, TX and Geraldine Davis of Austin, TX; a sister-in-law, Mary Phillips and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Phillips, Sr. and Audrey Migues-Phillips; Oscar Phillips, Jr., Harry Phillips, Fred Phillips and Robert James  "R.J." Phillips and two sisters, Louise Hamilton and Lucy Phillips; a son, Patrick Madison.
