Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at New Zion Baptist Church, 263 Grand Caillou Road, Houma, LA 70363. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by: her son, David Lyons; four stepsons, Jeffrey Williams (Shameka), Terrance Williams (April), Torrance Williams (Lori) and Louis Williams, III.; two stepdaughters, Charlette W. Copeland (Antonio) and Lisa W. King (James); one sister, Patricia A. Wilson (Rev. Ivy Wilson); one brother, Huey P. Lyons; and three grandchildren, Lucas H. Hayes, David B. Hayes and Eliana D. Lyons.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Louis Williams, Sr.; her parents, Herman, Sr. and Dorothy King-Lyons; one brother, Herman Lyons, Jr.; grandparents, Thomas and Olivia King; and one stepson, Louis Williams, Jr.
