

Charleta Marie Cooks Baker, 33, a resident of Houma, LA and a native of Thibodaux, LA, and Baby Girl Aqulinea Rose Baker, passed away on Monday December 18, 2017 at 9:58 AM at the Terrebonne General Hospital in Houma, LA.
Visitation be observed on Saturday December 30, 2017 from 11:00 AM until funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM on at Morgan City Municipal Auditorium, 728 Myrtle St. Morgan City, LA. Master of Ceremony, Rev. Ron Bias and Eulogist, Bishop Gary Wheeler of Changing your World Ministries of Orlando, Fl.
Burial will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Moses Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Memories of Charleta will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Elder Woodrow Donald Baker, Jr.; a son, Wiluzziah Baker; two daughters, Wa’Andenia Baker and Wymia Baker all of Houma, LA; her father, Charles LaSalle of Patterson, LA; two sisters, Karla Cooks and Charlene Cooks both of Thibodaux, LA; her grandfather, Samuel Cooks of Houma, LA; an uncle, Carl Cooks of Schriever, LA; a special couple who helped to raise her, Gerald and Nora Chenier; a god-father, Eugene Triggs, Sr.; a god-mother, Susan Davis; her mother-in-law, Carolyn (Gary) Paul of Verdunville, LA; a sister-in-law, Angelique Baker of Irving, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
Charleta passed away with her baby girl, Aqulinea Rose Baker and they were preceded in death by Charleta's mother, Rose Marie Cooks; her grandmother, Bessie Mae Cooks and her father-in-law Woodrow Baker, Sr.; a foster mother, Elouise Holmes.
