Clarence Jones, Jr., a resident of Lake Charles and a native of Chauvin, La., died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 12:30 PM at Martin De Porres Health Care in Lake Charles, La. Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Southdown Cemetery in Houma, La. Clarence leaves to cherish his memories his sisters, Gloria Mitchell and her husband Larry of Houma, La., and Bertha Brown of New Orleans, La., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Clarence Jones, Sr., his mother, Ollie Brooks Jones, four sisters, Rose Smith, Lucille Coleman, Ethel Martin and Polly Williams;
