Constance Washington Hulbert

Constance “Connie” Washington Hulbert, age 70, a resident of Morgan City, La.,  died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 3:25 AM at Teche Regional Medical Center. A rosary will be recited Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, the family will receive family & friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Visitation begins Friday April 25, 2014 at 10:00 AM with the Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. beginning at 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 Noon at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Morgan City, La. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery. Constance ""Connie"" leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Richard Hulbert of Morgan City, La., a daughter, Ingrid Marie Brown of Morgan City, La; five sisters, Antoinette Washington, Diana (Burnie) Williams, Kathleen Washington and Janita Turenne all of Morgan City, La., and Carlene Washington of Houston, TX; a sister-in-law, Elaine Washington of Gibson, La; and a host of relatives and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Fulton Washington, Sr. and Mamie Watson Washington, her first husband, Wallace Brown, and two brothers, Anthony and Fulton Washington, Jr.
