Cornelius Joseph, Sr

Cornelius Joseph, age 68, a resident of Gibson, La., and a native of Vacherie, La., died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 1:25 PM at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. Cornelius was a retiree from Bollinger. Visitation will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at St. James Baptist Church in Gibson, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial in the church cemetery. Cornelius leaves to his memories; his wife, Louise H. Joseph of Gibson, La; two sons, Henry Turner, Jr., of Houma, La., and Cornelius Joseph, Jr., of Gibson, La; four daughters, Ursula Joseph, Telegia Joseph and Tracey Young all of Vacherie, LA; and Juakeda Young of Prairieville, LA; three brothers, Hubert Joseph, Thomas Joseph, Jr., and Jiles Joseph all of Vacherie, LA; two sisters, Bertha Cage of Missouri City, TX., and Gail Noel of Vacherie, LA; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Cornelius was preceded in death by his parents; Thomas Joseph, Sr., and Elmer Moore Joseph; four brothers, Frank Joseph, Richard Joseph, Marcel Joseph and Wilton Joseph.
