Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 12911 East Main St., Larose, LA, from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Dan leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Lynn Whitney Adams; son, Damien (Daphne) Adams; grandchildren, Bree Lynn, Brittany Marie, and Bryce Michael Adams; brothers, James (Doris) Adams, Raceland, LA and Thomas Adams, Bayou Blue, LA; sisters, Doris (Cyril) Bourda, Larose, LA, Diane Adams, Raceland, LA, Rose Mary Brown, Houma, LA, Sadie (Randy) Fazande, Raceland, LA, Debra Adams, Bayou Blue, LA, and Beverly Morgan, Houma, LA; brother-in-law, Rodney (Janice) Whitney, Sr., Marrero, LA; sister-in-law Gwendolyn (Leonard) Jones, Larose, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Rose Dell and Daniel Adams, Sr.; sisters, Lillie Mae Adams, Margie Adams, and Gail Gwendolyn Adams; paternal grandparents, James and Emma Adams; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Lula Scoby; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Nick and Adeline Whitney; and sister-in-law, Nedra B. Whitney.
