Debbie (Debra) Johnson

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 507 Fourth Street Morgan City, LA.  Burial will follow in the Berwick Cemetery.

Debbie as known as Debra leaves to cherish her memories; three sons, Terrell A. Hayes of Patterson, LA; Willie J. Hayes, JR., of Franklin, LA; and Larry L Griffin, Jr., of Morgan City, LA; four brothers, Warner (Elouise) Johnson of Berwick, LA., Charles (Cleo) Johnson of Shreveport, LA., Lawrence (Rose) Johnson of Patterson, LA., and Horace (Mary Marie) Johnson of Lafayette, LA; two sisters, Linda Strawder of Berwick, LA., and Gail LaGarde (Walter) of Baton Rouge, LA; nine grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Jeffrey Johnson, Sr. and Ara Mae Johnson; paternal and maternal grandparents; three brothers, Wardell Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson Jr. and Junius LaGarde; four sisters, Mary Ann Johnson, Geraldine Griffin, Maggie Milton and Mary Nell Allen and two nephews
