Donald "Hicky" Thomas

Visitation will be observed on Tuesday July 5, 2016 from 8:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Patterson Civic Center Patterson, LA, with Brother Stanley Rankins, Officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson, LA.

Cherished and divine memories of "Hicky," as he was known to many, will forever be remembered by his two daughters, Markita S. Darnell and Donnesha Darnell both of Houston, TX; his loving mother, Hattie Mae Wilson and her husband Charles of Patterson, LA; four brothers, Ivory Wilson (Vanessa) of Algiers, LA, Gene Eric Grogan of Dallas, TX, Ronald Thomas (Monique) of Gonzales, LA and Reginald Thomas of Houston, TX; five sisters, Janet G. Taylor (Billy) of Walls, MS, Sandra Grogan of Patterson, LA, Derise Major (Dennis) of Charleston, SC, Charlita R. Thomas of Baton Rouge, LA and Donnette Webber (Darryl) of Broussard, LA; two grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, James Leroy Grogan, Sr., one brother, James Grogan and one sister, Karen Wilson.
