Dorothy Butler McGuire, age 87, a native of Berwick, La., and a resident of Patterson, La., died Monday, August 11, 2014 at Teche Regional Medical at 9:29 AM. Visitation will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 at St. Luke Baptist Church in Patterson, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories; a daughter, Rose McGuire-Gant of Patterson, La; and a host of relatives and friends.Preceded in death by her parents, Augustus Butler and Henrietta Johnson.
