Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 6775 West Park Ave., Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Donovan, Julius (Ninnie) and Joseph Lee Johnson; daughter, Qugila M. Rutledge (Willie); five grandchildren; one great grandchild; mother, Betty Short Mitchell; brothers, Alvin, David, Jerry and Ezekial Mitchell; sisters, Della Toussaint (Isaiah), Isabella Smith (William), Corrine Walker, Dequincy Richardson, Gloria Jenkins, Viola Jones (Alex) and Delores Phillips (Donald).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Lee Johnson; father, Jim Mitchell; brothers, Warrren, Floyd, Emmanuel and Jim Mitchell, Jr.
