Eric J. (FROG) Chapman, age 56, a resident of Patterson, died Wednesday, Aug 5th at 9:30 PM at Teche Regional Medical Center following a long illness. Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home, in Franklin, Saturday, Aug 8, 2009 from 9:00 AM until rosary at 11:15 AM and funeral at 12:00 PM. Burial in Patterson Memorial Cemetery. Survived by his father; Rudolph J. Vilo, Sr of Patterson, sisters; Mrs. Roger ""Joslyn"" Vilo Cannon and Yvonne Vilo both of Berwick, Yvette Vilo & Toni Stevenson both of Patterson, La., and Thelma Sanford of New Iberia, brothers; Rudolph Vilo, Jr. of New Orleans, La., Randolph Vilo of Berwick, and Reginald Vilo of Charenton, one son; Eric Chapman, Jr. of Breaux Bridge
