Frankie Lee Edwards

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Union Bethel AME Church Cemetery Friendship Alley Amelia, LA, from 10:30 AM until graveside services at 11:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow the graveside services, with performs by East St. Mary Veteran Squad.

Frankie Lee was a veteran of the United States Army, receiving an Honorable Discharge. 

Memories of Frankie Lee will forever remain in the hearts of his companion, Karen Jones of Amelia, LA; three children, Frankie Clark of Amelia, LA, Randy Clark of Morgan City, LA, and Latoya Gordon of Dekalb, MS; two brothers, Randell (Mary) Edwards of Patterson, LA and Tommy (Gwendolyn) Payton of DeKalb, MS; sister, Brenda Payton of Dallas, TX; step-children, Natalie Clark, Shawna Jones, Martika Jones, Quade Jones, and Quinton Jones; step-father, Eddie Morris Payton of DeKalb, MS; nine grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Frankie Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jean Edwards Payton; step-son, Nathaniel Clark and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
