Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 108 Livas Lane, Thibodaux, LA. Burial will follow in Blue Lily Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Janice Stevenson Nolan; son, Jacolby Nolan; daughter, Sarmona Knight; two grandchildren, Kenyal Knight and Khani Mitchell; caretaker/niece, Patricia Nolan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward, Sr. and Eliza Wilson-Nolan; brothers, Henry Butler, Sr., Edward, Jr., Benny, Bentley and Daniel Nolan; sisters, Elise Rounds, Bertha Mae Nolan, Gladys, Caldonia, Nitron Nolan, and Thelma Nolan Rounds.
