Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23 at New Rising Sun Baptist Church located at 230 St. Charles St in Houma with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son Joseph Little, Jr. (Wanda); daughters, Elizabeth Little and Cynthia Franklin (Terry); mother, Mary Louise Shelvin-Matthews; sisters, Verna Granderson and Eva Mason; eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Little; daughter, Clara Bell Little; father, Joseph Bernard, Sr.; stepfather, Robert "Cooley" Matthews; sisters, Mary Ann Fusilier and Shirley Bernard.
