Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles St., Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by: five sons, Joseph Rodney Williams (Stephanie), Milton Lemar Williams (Harriet), Bobbie Williams (Joyce), Andy Williams (Jerri), and Gregory Williams (Annette); two daughters, Juliette Williams and Veraniece Williams; four stepchildren; eighteen grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph Rodney Williams, Sr.; two sons, Robert Lee and Edward Charles Williams; one grandson, Robert "Lil Rob" Short; her parents, Ozelin and Hattie Turner-James; two brothers, Johnny and Samuel James; and one sister, Rosemary James Welch.
