Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Residence Baptist Church, 2605 Isaac St., Houma, LA. Burial will follow in the Residence Baptist Church Cemetery, Houma, LA.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Norman W. Porche, Sr; two sons, Norman W. Porche, Jr. (Onsheyl) and Nolan W. Porche (LeTonda); bonus osn, Deon Jenkins; one daughter, Tyshanell N. King (Taaka); two brothers, Albert Lyons, Sr. and Williams Lyons, Sr; two sisters, Evelyn Lyons Madison, Elizabeth Smith; father-in-law, Charles Porche, Sr; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Ida was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Mae Lyons; grandparents, William and Elizabeth Robinson; four brothers, Joseph Thompson, Sr., Jessie, Charles, and Eddie Lyons; twin sister, Ollie Mae Jones; mother-in-law, Hilda Mae Butler Porche.
