James "Big Jim" Leroy Grogan, Jr.

Visitation will be observed on Monday August 31, 2015 from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Morning Glory Ministries in Morgan City, LA, with Apostle Hendry A. Johnson, Officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson, LA.

Cherished and divine memories of "Big Jim," as he was known to many, will forever be remembered by his son, James Griffin; his loving mother, Hattie Mae Wilson both of Patterson, LA; five brothers, Ivory Wilson (Vanessa) of Algiers, LA, Gene Grogan of Dallas, TX, Donald Thomas of Morgan City, LA, Ron Thomas (Monique) of Gonzales, LA and Reginald Thomas of Houston, TX; five sisters, Janet G. Taylor (Billy) of Walls, MS, Sandra Grogan of Patterson, LA, Derise Major (Dennis) of Charleston, SC, Charlita Mosely of Baton Rouge, LA and Donnette Webber (Darryl) of Broussard, LA and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

James was preceded in death by his father, James Leroy Grogan, Sr. and one sister, Karen Wilson.
