James Johnson, Sr., age 61, a native of Four Corners, La., and a resident of Franklin, LA., died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 8:50 PM at Franklin Health Care in Franklin, LA. Visitation will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Nazarene Baptist Church in Verdunville, LA., from 8:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James leaves to cherish his memories; three sons, James Johnson, Jr., Antione Johnson and Shon Johnson all of Franklin, La; one daughter, Angella M. Johnson of Franklin, La; one brother, Raymond Johnson of Jeanerette, La; three sisters, Idella Fontenot of Verdunville, La., Florence Jackson of Franklin, La., and Joann Jackson of Jeanerette, La; eleven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Victoria Johnson.
