John Davis Adams, Jr.

A public viewing will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Eagle Wright Baptist Church,3113 W. Park Avenue, Gray, LA, 70359.  at (Per CDC regulations/local requirements all visitors must wear face masks in building at all times). Entombment will follow in the St. Brigette Catholic Church Cemetery, 100 Hwy 311 Schriever, LA 70395.

He is survived by his wife, Viola Miles Adams; son, John D. Adams, III.; brother, Charles Adams (Linda); sisters, Elitha Growe, Alma Dark (John), Darlene Allen (Alex), Damaris Hayes, Avis Bartholomew (Nathan) and Arleen Adams; brother-in-law, Charles Miles, Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Daisy Brown Adams; sister, Carolyn Matthews; paternal grandparents, Albert and Rosanna Bosman Adams; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Elitha Walker Brown.
