John Gilbert Augman, age 49, a former resident of Morgan City, La. died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 1:11 PM at his residence. Visitation will be Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Morgan City, La. from 11:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery of Morgan City, La. John leaves to cherish his memories; his father, William Augman, Sr., of Morgan City, La.; three brothers, William Augman, Jr., of Dayton, Oh., Reginald (Juanita) Augman of Patterson, La., and Micheal Bradford of Morgan City, La.; four sisters, Patricia Johnson and Betty Augman both of Morgan City, La., Vanessa Hebert of Phoenix, Az. and Renita Augman of Berwick, La.; his companion, Erma Bates of Sunshine, La.; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise L. Augman and a sister, Sadie Augman.
