Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 9:00AM until funeral time at 11:00AM at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.) Burial will follow at Halfway Cemetery.
Memories of John will forever remain in the heart of his children, Andre "Ronnie" Lucas, Derick Pharr, Andrinne "Angie" Lucas, Michelle "Alphard" Walter and Jennifer Lucas. Sister, Jessie Shaw, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Corrine Lucas. Wife, Barbara Lewis Lucas and brother, Robert Lucas.
