John C. Lynch

Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the New Salem Baptist Cemetery in Patterson, LA.

John served in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years.  He served as a Field Radio Operator and received honors as a rifle expert. 

John will be greatly missed by his family members and friends, especially his companion, Rose White and granddaughter, Zee.

He was the fourth brother of five.  John leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Lorraine Lynch of Wilmington, NC., Eddie Johnson of Long Beach, CA., Leroy (Mary) Johnson of Lake Charles, LA., Floyd Johnson of Patterson, LA., Lee (Myra) Condolle of Patterson, LA., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Daisy Mae Johnson and R. Schexnayder, his adopted parents, John and Lorraine Lynch, his aunts, Mercede Martin and Nell Jessie, his uncle, Nathan Johnson and grandmother, Emelda Johnson.
