Joseph ""Joe Louis"" McGee, Sr.,age 75, a native of Four Corners, La., died Monday, October 6, 2014 at 7:10 AM in Baton Rouge, La. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Friday October 10, 2014 at the Our Lady of the Rosary Church 11200 Old Jeanerette Rd, Jeanerette, LA 70544, with a rosary being recited at 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dismas Mauk, SVD serving as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel. He is survived by his sister, Gloria Owens of Los Angeles, California; son Joseph McGee, Jr. of Jeanerette, Louisiana; daughters Pamela McGee of Houston, Texas and Carolyn McGee of Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Marjorie); two sons Donald and Steven McGee, and daughter Malviola of Jeanerette, Louisiana (Rose); grandchildren, nieces, nephews, host of relatives and close friends who held him dear to their hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malviola Jenkins Brown and Simon McGee; and a son, Timothy McGee.
