Lawrence "Kodie G." Lynel Blackburn

Visitation will be observed on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Nazarene Baptist Church Highway 182 Franklin (Verdunville), LA from 11:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM, with Reverend Henry Harris, Officiating. Burial will follow services in the Nazarene Church Cemetery in Franklin (Verdunville), LA.

Memories of "Kodie G." as he was known to many , will forever be cherished in the heart of his loving mother, Geraldine Blackburn of Franklin, LA; five sons, Lawrence Hunter of Lafayette, LA, Na'jay Blackburn, Davidyione Bias, Da'Mondrick Blackburn, and Daylon Blackburn all of Morgan City, LA; three daughters, Laurielle Bias, Zyrielle Bias and Irielle Bias all of Morgan City, LA; three brothers, Billy Blackburn of Lafayette, LA, Jeremy Blackburn of Baton Rouge, LA and Leo Mingo, Jr. of Patterson, LA; three sisters, Ruby Blackburn and Christine Blackburn of Baton Rouge, LA and  Antoinette Blackburn-Jackson of Germany as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Lawrence was preceded in by his father, Leo Mingo; one brother, Michael Mingo; a nephew, Lil' Michael Mingo; two uncles, Lawrence Mingo and Merrit Mingo and his paternal and maternal grandparents, Elgin and Rose Mingo and Bennie Blackburn.
