Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM until funeral time at 12:00 PM at Church of Christ, RR Ave, Morgan City, LA.  Burial in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Leonard leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Juanita Escort of Morgan City, LA;  three sons, Leonard Thomas Escort lll- Fort Worth, TX., Lance Dewayne Escort (Chantel)- Centerville, LA and Larry Tyrone Chester- Morgan City, LA; a daughter, Erica Latrice Warren (Chadrick)- Lafayette, LA; three brothers, Clifton Escort Sr. and Allen Escort both of Morgan City, LA., and Andrew Escort of  Birmingham, AL;  five sisters, Mary Prejean (Gerald)-Marrero, LA., Juanita Escort- Houston, TX.,  Ruth Escort,  Caroline Green and Deatrel Hunter Escort all of  Morgan City, LA., and Lillie Escort- Berwick, LA., nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death his father,  Leonard Thomas Escort, Sr., a grandson, Dewayne Thomas Escort, two brother, Jerry and Bobby Escort and mother of his children and long time friend, Robbie Johnson.
