Smith, Jr., 53, a resident of Franklin, Louisiana died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11:45 a.m. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the start of the funeral at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Crossing Place Fellowship, 1096 Northwest Boulevard in Franklin.A Burial will be in the St. Jules Catholic Church Cemetery in Franklin, La.He is survived by his wife, Karen Salone Smith of Franklin; children TaKisha Welch of Franklin, Jeohn Salone Favors of Washington, D.C., and India Smith of Lafayette; two sisters, Windy (Ronald) Boseman of Franklin and Carolina (Gordon) Wilson of Madison, Wisconsin; one brother, DesmondA Connor, Sr. of Ville Platte; one grandchild, Goddess Baldwin of Franklin; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, godchildren, other relatives, and friends.
