Lois Ann Brown

Lois Johnson Brown was born on July 18th,1946, to the union of Soloman and Evelina Johnson. On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 3pm, Lois entered into eternal rest at Banner Estrella Hospital in Avondale, Arizona. Lois was baptized by Rev Sherman Washington on April 5th,1958. She was a graduate of C.M. Washington Class of 1964.

Visitation for Lois will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at New Morning Star Baptist Church, 103 Lily St, Labadieville, LA 70301. Burial will follow Friday, June 6, 2025, at New Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery.

Lois is survived her son Darrin Marshall of Thibodaux, LA. her brothers, Willie Johnson of Thibodaux, LA Lloyd (Ella) Johnson Sr. of Napoleonville, LA. Tommie (Cecelia) Johnson Sr of Avondale, Arizona. her sister Kasharon Duncan of Houma, LA and eight Godchildren; Jessica Dickerson, Michelle Williams, Subrenia Johnson, Bertina Johnson, Timmie Johnson Sr, Lawrence Johnson Jr. Darryl Crockett and Jackie Ervin

Lois was preceded in death by her parents Soloman and Evelina Johnson, her granddaughter, Sahara Wilson, her brothers Louis Johnson Sr., Nolan Johnson Sr. and Lawrence Johnson Sr. her sister Geraldine Toups.

She was lovingly referred to as "Tee Nanny" by her nieces and nephews, avid cook known for her gumbo, stuffed bell peppers, mirlitons and eggplant.

She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher and Deaconess Board.
