Michael Jerome Mahoney, Sr., 54, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 7:02 a.m. Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Houma on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. at First Corinthian Baptist Church on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery. He is survived by: his wife, Sylvia Kirk-Mahoney; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Aaron Dottery; son, Michael J. Mahoney, Jr.; daughter, Rennasha Mahoney; two brothers, Daniel and Anthony Mahoney; sister, Sherryl L. Mahoney; and two grandchildren. Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
