Mickel Joe, age 53, a native and a resident of Jeanerette, La., died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Iberia Medical Center at 11:00 PM. Visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Jones Funeral Home in Jeanerette, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Times Cemetery in Jeanerette, La. Mickel leaves to cherish her memories; one son, Ja'Michael Joe of Jeanerette, La; his companion, Dora Sutton of Jeanerette, La; eight brothers, Ervin Joe, Bobby Joe, Troy Ned, Kevin Brown (Vondel), Paul Stafford Brown (Donieka), Danny Miller (Eileen), Kurt Miller(Lisa), Stephen Miller and David Miller (Viola); five sisters, Veronica Ned, Danyell Brown (Reginald), Lisa Miller (William), Charlene Provost (Robert), and Frieda Miller all of Jeanerette, La., one uncle, Leroy Joe, Sr., of Jeanerette, La., one aunt, Josie Rodrigue of St. Martinsville, La., and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Brown, father Joseph Miller, a brother, Kenney Ned, grandmother, Lovieda Joe and grandfather, Willie Joe, Sr.
