Milton "Nolie/Joe Black" McCoy Davis, Sr.

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, 1101 Main Street, Franklin, LA, from 9:00 AM until fraternal rights beginning at 2:00 PM, the Rev. John Davis will serve as the Euolgist. Burial will follow funeral services in the Irish Bend Benevolent Society Cemetery in St. Joseph LA.

Memories of "Nolie or Joe Black," as he was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of his four sons, Melvin Davis and Kerry Davis and his wife, Debbie all of Franklin, LA and Robert Gabriel and Rogers Gabriel; five daughters, Tammy Thomas and her husband Terry, Maxine Randle, Vivian Matthews and her husband Leonard, all of Franklin, LA; Terry Dwyer of Jeanerette, LA and Sarah Gabriel; one brother, Eugene Davis of Franklin, LA; thirty grandchildren, fifty-nine great grandchildren and twenty-two great-great grandchildren; his former wives, Laura Davis and Mandy Davis and a host of other relatives and friends.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Davis and Susie Kearney Davis; a wife, Vivian Darby Davis; three daughters, Susie Parker, Daisy Metz, and Lorenzo Davis; one son, Milton Davis, Jr.; one granddaughter, Bridgett Jackson; two brothers, Jessie Edwards and John Davis, Sr. and one sister, Lucy Mae Davis.
