Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church located at 2424 Grand Caillou Road with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Ann North; mother-in-law, Octavia McKinley; sons, Mitchell North, III (Veronica), Frederick Moses, and Michael Davis; daughters, Lydia North, Okema and Lawanda Moses, Michelle and Betty Davis, and Marie Veal (George); brother, Leroy Dyley, sister, Lydia Brown; twenty-eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell, Sr. and Mary Dingle-North; brothers, Daniel Williams, Sam and Ernest Dyley.
