Rev. Leroy Carr, Sr., 70, a native and resident of Lafourche Parish, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 15, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. at Allen Chapel AME - Thibodaux, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by: two sons, Troy Michael and Leroy Carr, Jr.; two daughters, Tara Brunson and Tiiloni Beavers; brother, Bishop Hurley Frye, Sr.; two sisters, Faith C. Goudy and Iantha C. Simpson; former wife, Isizee Coler; caregiver, Carolyn Wagner; and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: parents, Junius and Menola Robinson-Carr; three sisters, Grace C. Rounds, Lillie Harry, and Frances Hamilton; and two brothers, Lawrence and Carl Frye. Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
